Anne-Marie Wows The Voice UK Watchers With Amazing Performance

English singer and judge of the ongoing The Voice UK, Anne-Marie, got fans and watchers of the show astonished after delivering a wonderful performance of ‘Our Song’.

 

Saturday night’s (September 17) episode of The Voice took a bit of an interesting turn after singer Anne-Marie got persuaded to sing. The 31 years old English musician got the plea from fans to deliver a live-performance. This was after two individuals from the audience first openly asked for it. “Sing for us Anne-Marie”, the two of them yelled out before others followed and started chanting Anne’s name.

 

Fans were on the edge of their seats, waiting for her decision on whether to make the performance or not. While they were all chanting and waiting, Sir Tom Jones who is her fellow judge, encouraged her. The singer then obliged and gave the pleading fans an amazing performance of Our Song from her Therapy album.

 

After the exquisite performance, all the other judges were amazed at what she had done. Olly Murs had to give her a standing ovation and Jones also complimented the song.

 

Watchers of The Voice have gone online to share their thoughts on how thrilled they were to see Anne-Marrie’s rendition.

Our Song was actually produced by TMS and written by Anne-Marie, Niall Horan, Philip Plested along with three members of TMS. Therapy is Anne-Marie’s second studio album which she released on 23rd of July, the year 2021. It was released via Major Tom’s and Asylum Records with featured artistes like KSI, Rudimental, Little Mix, Nathan Dawe, Niall Horan, MoStack and Digital Farm Animals.

 

She released Our Song on the 21st of May, 2021 with One Direction member, Niall Horan. The wonderful song was released alongside four other singles in the Therapy Album, they are: Way Too Long, Don’t Play and Kiss My (Uh-Oh).

Anne-Marie and Niall had their fourth and sixth top-10 entry on the Irish Singles Chart with this song. It debuted at number 10 at first before it then moved up to number seven on the chart. Our Song also peaked at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart. The song is currently certified gold in Canada and United Kingdom.

 

The Voice UK shall continue next Saturday, 24th of September, on ITV.
