Emmett Blois – Big Brother Canada Season 1 (2013)

Mostly popular for his showmance with Jillian MacLaughlin, the winner of the Premiere season Big Brother Canada show in 2013. Emmett Blois was a 29 years old dairy Farmer from Gore, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Emmett Blois claimed to have gotten into the Big Brother Canada show because of his brother’s convictions that he was going to do great on the show.

Throughout the show, Emmett displayed great physical strength such that he was a threat to other houseguests on the show. His physical strengths were rewarding as he won most of the competitions on the show including three veto power wins and 2 times head of household title.

However, Emmett broke a record of being the first houseguest to be unseated as the Head of Household in week 4. This was because there were video recordings that proved that Emmett, alongside three other houseguests, had cheated in the competition in the Week 4 Head of Household Competition. His restless personality cost him a bit. He was disqualified from 3 Big Brother Canada Competitions

Emmett with Tom, Alec and Peter was a part of Quattro alliance, the alliance was the strongest at the initial start of the BBCAN show until Tom got evicted. After the fall of Quattro Alliance, Emmett and Jillian, his in-house lover, joined the East Coast Alliance. This move might be said to be their best move as it saw Emmett into the final leg of the BBCAN1 show and his lover, Jillian, as the winner of the BBCAN1.

Well, Emmett got evicted by the recalled Gary Levy, the brain behind “secret wedding alliance”. Emmett was however considered as one of the best players of BBCAN to have never won.

After emerging as the second runner up of BBCAN1, Emmett and Jillian MacLaughlin went on with their showmance for about two years with Emmett as the co-owner of a rafting company. While together, Emmett competed with Jillian in the Amazing Race Canada 4 where they got to the finals and finished as the second runner up.

Emmett also got featured on The Big Brother Canada 7 with Demetres Giannitsos and Erica Hill in the week 4 Power of Veto Competition, “Comp Beast Hall of Fame” in 2019.

Emmett is not behind in life as he is currently a gym owner and a Video Content Creator which he uses to tend to his origination from Farming.
