Meet BBCAN 5 Contestant: Emily Hawkin

Emily Hawkin

Emily Hawkin is a very quiet and reserved being. She was born on the 26th of November, 1993. She has a sister and she also hails from Toronto, Ontario. Emily Hawkin was a musician and Server before joining the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show. Her nickname is Em. Emily Hawkins loves puppies and she thinks they are really fun to be with. Emily Hawkin started a relationship with one of her fellow houseguests, Dillon Carman in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show.

Emily Hawkin’s relationship with Dillon Carman actually made them a target to the other houseguests. Emily Hawkin and Dillon Carman were both put on block by Demetres Giannitsos because of their relationship. But Dillon Carman was able to put himself off block since he won the Power of Veto (POV) competition on the 10th day of the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show.

 Due to the fact that William Laprise Debiens had his target on Dillon Carman, he nominated both Dillon Carman and Emily Hawkins for eviction after winning the Head of House (HOH). Emily Hawkins was nominated because of her affair with Dillon Carman.

Emily Hawkin was evicted from the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show on the 34th day because she was seen as a threat to her fellow houseguests as she became aware that she has always been nominated for eviction  because of her relationship with Dillon Carman.

Emily Hawkin alongside Dallas Cormier, Dillon Carman, Jackie McCurrach, Kevin Martin and Bruno Ielo voted to evict Demetres Giannitsos on the 6th day but fortunately for Demetres Giannitsos, Mark Chrysler was evicted instead by a 7-6 vote. Throughout Emily Hawkins’ stay in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show, she did not win the Head of House (HOH) title. 

Emily Hawkins did not also win any Power of Veto (POV) competition in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show. She was nominated two times in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show and it was both during the 2nd and 5th week of the show. Emily Hawkins was the only new female houseguest that did not make it to the second half of the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show.

A competition came up on the 25th day of the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show, each houseguests had a bucket and they would privately place ten cookies into the bucket of the houseguests that they wanted to be Have-Nots for the week. Unknown to the players, the houseguests with the least cookies would be the Have-Nots for the week. Emily Hawkin was one of the Have-Not for that week, following Demetres Giannitsos,William Laprise Desbiens and Bruno Ielo.

Emily Hawkins took the 12th position as she was evicted. Emily Hawkins’ Big Brother Canada idols were Nikki and Joel. Emily Hawkin stated that Nikki was hilarious while Joel is so cute.
