Release Date For Netflix’s You Season 4 Announced at The TUDUM Event

If you loved season 1, 2 and 3 of the Netflix You series, garb your popcorns because You season 4 is just close-by. Netflix just confirmed the release date for the series’ 4th season and lots of movie lovers can’t wait any longer.

 

Netflix just livestreamed their second TUDUM Global Fan Event, which most of their watchers have been waiting for in a while. The streaming platform announced and showcased quite a lot of their biggest upcoming movies, shows and series. In case you missed it:

Although, there were some anticipated shows and movies that Netflix didn’t announce, like Arcane Season 2. They still teased their watchers with shows like the amazing Knives Out 2, Enola Holmes and two different Witcher Shows. The one that caught our eyes the most was the teaser for the season 4 of You. The psychological thriller series will be returning next year to our screens.

 

When Is Netflix’s You Season 4 Coming Out?

The You teaser shows Joe Goldberg, played by actor Penn Badgley, revealing what seems to be his new mysterious identity. Goldberg reveals himself as Professor Jonathan Moore and we can’t just wait to see more of this character.

 

From the teaser, it seems that this new season will be set in the UK. Remember that the first season of the You series was in New York. It was moved later on to Los Angeles for the second and third season.

 

Firstly, from what we have seen, the series will be divided into two separate parts. The first part of Netflix’s You Season 4 will premiere on the 10th of February, 2023. The second part will then premiere on 10th of the next month.

Penn Badgley will be returning as Joe Goldberg/ Professor Jonathan Moore while Tati Gabrielle will be playing Marienne Bellamy. Other cast of You Season 4 include: Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe, Lukas Gage as Adam, Ed Speleers as Rhys, Charlotte Ritchie as Kate and many others.

 

The first season premiered on the Lifetime TV Network in September, 2018. It was not on the Netflix streaming platform at that time. The You series was moved later on to Netflix and in December 2019, its second season was released there. Netflix released the third season of the series on October 15, 2021.

 

The You series is actually based on the books, written by Caroline Kepnes (You, Hidden Bodies and You Love Me). While Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble developed it. The series’ ratings currently sits at 7.7/10 on IMDb and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes with 76% Average Audience score.
