Singaporean DJ Tenashar Charged With Document Forgery Using Attorney-General’s Name

Manipulating and also fabricating specific or even overall items on a document is a crime that the law doesn’t take lightly. Every year, there are hundreds of thousands of cases related to forgery. The high-class individuals and also the low-class individuals of the society are victims and also perpetrators of this act. Talking about high-class individuals, Singaporean DJ Tenashar who is also a well-known model, has landed in a forgery-related issue.

 

37-year-old Debbie Valerie Tenashar Long was charged on 7th, September with document forgery. According to charge sheets seen by The Straits Times, DJ Teneshar allegedly filed a letter in court. This letter contained a particular signature with the name “Lucien Wong”. The letter also had the title of “Attorney-General”.

 

This same letter allegedly stated that a go-ahead has been given by the “Attorney-General” to begin proceedings for contempt of court. Apparently, the court details of it were not mentioned in the court documents. According to several reports, Tenashar Long will be remanded and shall also undergo psychiatric observation. This observation will take place at the Institute of Mental Health.

 

It is possible that Dj Tenashar could be fined or even worse, jailed for up to 10 years. This is also if she is convicted of forging a document and using it as a legitimate one. It is also important to know that this is actually not the first time that Tenashar has had issues with the Law.

DJ Tenashar Crime Case In 2015 and 2019

First arrested in 2015, 28 October to be precise, Tenashar was stopped by CNB (Central Narcotics Bureau) officers. She had also just returned from a trip to Amsterdam, after spending about two weeks there. At that time, she was in possession of quantities of mushroom-like substances. She also tested positive for illegal drugs but was granted bail later on.

 

Tenashar Long left the country the next month only to return to an unwelcoming situation in May 2018. She was remanded two days after her return to Singapore. According to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP), Nicholas Wuan, Tenashar absconded while on bail.

 

It was later revealed by DJ Tenashar Long’s lawyer that the CNB actually gave her the permission to travel abroad. She stayed there for a while because of various issues she had. One of them being the relationship she had with her ex-boyfriend. Tenashar Long’s ex-boyfriend, Thorsten Nolte, also left the country years back.

In 2019, which is 3 years ago, Tenashar had up to 18 months in jail due to drug-related offences. It is also worthy to note that Tenashar Long is rated as one of the top 100 Disk Jockeys in the world. The Singaporean is also known for using her celebrity status for helping charities and other upcoming DJs.

 

Since reports of her recent forgery issue went public, talks and rumorssabout her have been flying around. The hearing of Tenashar Long’s case shall start again on the 21st of September, 2022.
