She-Hulk Series: Cast, Release Date, Trailer (CGI), Rumors, Expected Cameos and More

Trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released recently and talks about it are already flying around. This article is focused on almost everything that is being said about the upcoming She-Hulk series, let’s dive in.

She-Hulk Official Trailer by Marvel Entertainment, YouTube

After Marvel’s successful release of Avengers: Endgame back in 2019, fans wanted to see how characters like Hulk would progress. People wanted to see how he would be able to deal with all the Traumatic experience he had. Marvel has responded but not exactly with what we expected; we are getting a comedy series about She-Hulk.

Before we go into details, let’s take a bit of information on who She-hulk is.

Who Is She-Hulk?

Since her first appearance in The Savage She-Hulk #1 1980, She-Hulk has gone through a lot of evolution. Jennifer Walters still remains a lawyer and also Bruce Banner’s (The Hulk) cousin. She got her powers directly from Bruce after receiving a blood transfusion from him. This made her to develop abilities similar to the Hulk. The only difference is that she has much control over it than Hulk. Whenever she transforms into the She-Hulk, she is able to remain sane unlike the Hulk who is always enraged.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Cast

The trailer has given us a peak at some of the characters we’d be seeing in the series. Below are some of those characters and the actors/actresses playing them.

  • Tatiana Gabriele Maslany as She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters):

Most of us by now should’ve seen Tatiana’s incredible performance in the series called Orphan Black. It has already given us an idea of how good she is.

  • Mark Ruffalo as Professor Hulk (Bruce Banner:

Mark Ruffalo is returning as Smart Hulk and he’d be helping Jennifer Walters towards being the She-Hulk. The post credits scene in Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings showed Bruce Banner. He was with an injured arm and instead of Professor Hulk and viewers have been asking questions about this.

  • Tim Roth as Abomination (Emil Blonsky):

Tim Roth will also be playing Abomination/Emil Blonsky once again in the She-Hulk series, the last time we saw him as the character was in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Although, we did see Abomination in the Shang-Chi movie but Tim Roth only did a little bit of voice acting for the character and we never saw him as Blonsky.

  • Benedict Wong as Wong: We also saw a bit of him in the Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings movie having a fight with Abomination, then later on with Shang-Chi in the post credits scene.
  • Jameela Jamil as Titania: She-Hulk’s tough rival who has extraordinary superhuman strength.
  • Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki: Jennifer Walter’s close friend.
  • Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia: Goldsberry would probably be playing the character who we know as Amelia Voght from the comics. A character who was with Professor Charles Xavier before she defected later on, she was also part of S.W.O.R.D.

When Will The She-Hulk Series Be Released?

The She-Hulk series release date is set to be on the 17th of August 2022 and it’s first episode would be premiered via Disney+. The series would have nine episodes and it seems better than the 6 episodes we were given for the Moon Knight series. According to several reports, each of the nine episodes would be almost 40 minutes long.

Is The She-Hulk CGI Bad Or Good?

This is a question that most people have been asking since the trailer was released, some of them have said that the CGI for She-Hulk is something they don’t find appeasing. Critics have stated that that CGI doesn’t look realistic for She-Hulk, unlike Professor Hulk’s CGI which still looks very good.

The issue here is that most people don’t know that VFX is the part of movie production that sometimes eats the biggest percentage of the budget. Visual effects are usually costly and the budget for a series like She-Hulk is not that much to get an exquisite CGI for the She-Hulk character. Another thing to note is that Professor Hulk’s CGI model was not built again from scratch, they just used what the producers used when producing Avengers: Endgame. On the other hand, the She-Hulk CGI was probably not built the same way as Hulk’s own and it’s just the first trailer we’ve seen, Marvel would surely make changes to it later on.

She-Hulk Series Expected Cameos And Rumors

The MCU fanbase without their speculations and theories is a fanbase without fun. Just like every other MCU movie, there are already tons of rumors flying around concerning who and what we should expect when the series would be released.

In the trailer, Frog Man can be seen for a very short amount of time and many fans have been talking about this character. Many believe that Frog Man may be one of the villains that She-Hulk would face in the series. There have also been rumors about the late William Hurt showing up as Thunderbolt Ross and maybe the Red Hulk, even if it’s just for a short scene in the series.

Charlie Cox may also return to play Daredevil/Matt Murdock. We just hope his cameo won’t be as short as what we saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home. People were disappointed, they were expecting Matt Murdock to help Peter throughout the movie but unfortunately, his cameo was short.

Nick Fury in the She-Hulk series is something that would likely happen at the end of the series. Considering the fact that Nick would want to recruit She-Hulk into a new group of Superheroes.

Conclusion

Looking at the trailer, the She-Hulk: Attorney At Law looks like a series that would be enjoyable to watch. Marvel’s comedic style of movie production is always something that is unique. They never disappoint, so watch out for the 17th of August, She-Hulk’s coming.
