Chris Hemsworth Shares Funny Thor: Love & Thunder Behind-the-scenes

In a funny video which Chris Hemsworth uploaded recently, the actor shared a bit of Thor: Love and Thunder behind-the-scenes moment. The video has gotten most of his fans giggling and some have reiterated how well they received the new Thor movie.

Popular Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth, has been getting a lot of praises for his comedic and awesome acting in the new Thor movie, since its release. In the movie, he plays as Thor Odinson (Marvel’s God of Thunder) who later teams up with his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster. He and Jane are then put up to the task to stop Gorr the God Butcher, played by the renowned Christian Bale. The movie also highlights Jane’s struggle with cancer and how she becomes the Mighty Thor after wielding Mjolnir.

The movie actually played out nice, with Taika Waititi returning as a director after his excellent work on Thor: Ragnarok. Taika actually changed the MCU Thor franchise and Ragnarok’s reception proves that. Viewers saw the 2017 movie as something different from the former Thor movies, its comedic timing was just perfect. Currently, Thor: Ragnarok sits at a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDb and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. On the other hand, Thor: Love and Thunder is at 6.4/10 on IMDb and 64% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Some watchers of the new Thor movie didn’t like its comicality and lots of them have gone on social media to talk about it. Apparently, some of them are talking about how Taika Waititi underused Christian Bale. They feel he had less screen time and little to no development. Christian Bale is actually one of Hollywood’s biggest actors and many of his fans felt this new Thor movie wasted his talent.

Upon all the critics and tantrums, it does seem like everyone on the movie set enjoyed every bit of its production This new Thor: Love and Thunder behind-the-scenes video from Chris Hemsworth adds to it. In the video, it shows him holding a gigantic Mjolnir prop. It seems like they had just finished shooting a long scene for the movie. He then jokes about the size of the prop saying;

“I worked out a little bit less for this film which made the hammer look bigger but I think proportionally, it’s not that far off”.

Some netizens have trooped into his comments section to talk about how Ant-Man may have done something to the hammer. They’ve also joked about how big this “Jonathan” looks. In case you do not get this reference, it’s actually to Paul Rudd’s answer to a Thor question at an interview. The interviewer asked him for the name of Thor’s hammer. Paul Rudd, who also plays Ant-Man, unhesitatingly answered, “Jonathan?”.
