Meet BBCAN 5 Contestant: Ika Wong

Ika Wong

Ika Wong is one of the contestants in the Big Brother Canada Season 2 (BBCAN2) reality show that re-appeared on the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show. She was born on the 3rd of  October, 1984. Ika Wong hails from Thornhill, Ontario and she is a hair stylist. Ika Wong is also a Financial services manager.

During Ika Wong’s stay in the Big Brother Canada Season 2 (BBCAN2), she won the Head of House (HOH) title once and it was during the 3rd week. Ika Wong became the first female to win the Head of House (HOH) title. Ika Wong also won the Power of Veto (POV) competition in the same week. Ika Wong was the first female to win the Power of Veto (POV) in the history of Big Brother Canada.  Ika Wong was nominated two times in the Big Brother Canada Season 2 (BBCAN2) show. Ika Wong was nominated in the 1st and 4th week. She left the show on the 29th day with a prize of $5,000.

Ika Wong came to the show more prepared than the first time. She formed close and strong relationships throughout the house. Ika Wong’s loyalties in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) show were Demetres Giannitsos, Andre “Dre” Gwenaelle, Dillon Carman, Gary Levy, Karen Singbeil, Sindy Nguyen, Cassandra Shahinfar, Dallas Cormier. 

Ika Wong did not win the Head of House (HOH) title throughout her stay in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) reality show. She also did not win any Power of Veto (POV) competition in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) show. Ika Wong was nominated for eviction three times in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) show. She was nominated in the 8th week, 9th week and 10th week.

Ika Wong was the first and only returning houseguest to survive after remaining on block in the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) show. She was evicted on the 64th day and became a member of the jury house.

Ika Wong started a relationship with her fellow houseguest, Demetres Giannitsos after the Big Brother Canada Season 5 (BBCAN5) show ended. Ika Wong and Demetres Giannitsos both started a Youtube channel. She is also available on Twitter and Instagram.

In the 2nd week of Big Brother Canada Season 6 (BBCAN6) reality show, Ika Wong  alongside her fellow houseguests, Sabrina Abbate from Big Brother Canada Season 2 and also Kevin Martin from Big Brother Canada Season 4 showed up as part of the “Night in the Big Brother Canada Museum” Head of House (HOH) competition. She shared her notorious letter shredding moments from the Big Brother Canada Season 2 (BBCAN2) reality show.

Ika Wong also showed up in partnership with show’s Wendy’s sponsorship to give food to the Head of House (HOH) in the 2nd week of the Big Brother Canada Season 7 (BBCAN7) show.
